SchoolSitePro makes it easy to update school websites. Another requirement for a successful school website is professional graphic design. The information in your website must be presented in a well-organized form so that the visitors can find the information they look for easily and quickly. As the website is the representation of your school and community in the World Wide Web, it must also be aesthetically pleasing, and reflect the culture and the spirit of your school. It is important that the community members recognize the design elements quickly (such as your school's logo, mascot and colors), and say "Yes, this is definitely our school." A professional design will make them proud of being a member of your school's community, and encourage them to check the website even more often.
One of Educational Networks' goals is to provide schools and school districts a total solutions package. Creating a professional design for your website is a part of our offering. For each project, we build a team with experts from different fields, and assign a project manager who is responsible of the overall success and timely completion of the project.
Our website development process consists of the following phases:
We will provide you a checklist that is designed to assist you in collecting the items we need for the website development. This checklist consists of items such as logo, mascot, colors, photos, and general information about the school. Once we have enough content available for the project, the project manager will approve the completion of this phase, and organize the materials for the use of the graphic designers.
Using the materials collected in phase one and your design preferences, one of our graphic designers will create a graphic design for your website. It is just the first mockup, and it is usually not ready for your review, yet. Our project manager will request revisions in this first mockup, and the design becomes approvable usually after several rounds of revisions. Since the design quality is very important, we request a new design if we feel it's necessary, and even involve additional graphic designers. The approved version of the design will be sent to you for your review, and this time we repeat the same process upon your feedback. The process will continue until we have a design that has our project manager's approval (to make sure it meets certain technical user-interface requirements and certain aesthetic standards) and your approval to ensure your satisfaction.
Our designer will deliver the approved design files to our web team. Our web team will create the website using the design files, import the content from your existing website, and create all additional pages using the available content. What we will have in the end of this phase is the initial website. It's a start!
We will train your key personnel (such as technology director) about SchoolSitePro over the phone, and launch the website. This training usually takes up to 3 hours.
Once the initial website is live, our web team will be available to all your teachers and staff members, and assist them in all their needs with your school's website. This will include also creating new sections, consulting them about common practices in school websites, and assisting them with technical issues at any level. Your school will always be in a good position with its website with the support of our technical team.
