How long does it take?
Projects generally take 4-6 weeks, depending on the time of year and scope of the project. It also depends on how quickly the contact person at your school or district provides requested materials and design feedback to our project managers.
Where are you located?
All over! Well, we have offices in New York City, Los Angeles, and Austin, TX. We work with schools all over the United States—from Hawaii to Florida, and plenty in between. We love sending out a photographer and trainer to a number of locations. If you’re somewhere a bit more remote we will do a special web conference with video.
How much space do I get?
Unlimited space, for all your website needs. This means unlimited photos, news, calendar events, etc. Don’t worry about paying extra because the 8th grade Algebra teacher uploaded too many homework assignments!
Can we host Educational Networks’ CMS on our own servers?
We’re afraid not. But trust us, you’ll be happy you can’t. Hosted solutions are very popular in a number of industries, and not without reason. We handle all the servers, all the software installation, and you get new features and security updates at no additional cost (or effort!)
What’s different about Educational Networks’ CMS versus others’?
A lot of things! Our CMS is designed just for schools, so you enter the information how you have it— academic departments, teachers, homework assignments. You don’t have to poke through a bunch of pages to add a homework assignment—you just click “Add Homework.”
What kind of setup fees are there?
None. We host your website and it’s CMS for a very reasonable annual subscription. This allows us to offer new features and security updates at no added cost, as well as provide excellent technical support to all your teachers and staff—again, at no added cost.
How much extra is phone support?
It isn’t. Your subscription includes technical support over the phone and email. Our phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm, and we respond to nearly every request in less than 24 hours.
What if I want to sell t-shirts or take applications?
We have a number of add-on modules to meet your unique needs.
